Herna Verhagen, CEO of PostNL, commented: “2024 turned out to be an unsatisfactory year from a financial perspective. FY 2024 normalised EBIT is expected to come in at around €53 million."

PostNL provides update on its 2024 performance

PostNL’s Supervisory Board announced to appoint Linde Jansen as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Board of Management. Linde Jansen will succeed Pim Berendsen, who will take over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from Herna Verhagen after the Annual General Meeting of shareholders (AGM) on 15 April 2025. Following the AGM, Linde Jansen and Pim Berendsen will form PostNL’s two-person Board of Management.

Herna Verhagen, CEO of PostNL, said: "The urgent need to transform the current unsustainable business model at Mail in the Netherlands is clearly shown by the loss of €19 million over the first nine months of 2024, €15 million lower than last year."

Starting in February 2025, PostNL will begin staggered collection from postboxes throughout the day. This approach is more efficient, reduces the number of kilometres driven, is more sustainable and saves costs.

Picnic will become the new co-title partner of cycling team Team dsm-firmenich PostNL. From 1 January 2025, the team will continue under the new name Team Picnic PostNL.
