PostNL share buyback update 2 May 2022
The Hague, the Netherlands, 3 May 2022 – PostNL has repurchased 7,302,715 of its common shares in the period from 26 April 2022 up to and including 2 May 2022. The shares were repurchased at an average price of €3.12 per share. The consideration of this period’s repurchase was €22.8 million.
These repurchases were made as part of the share buyback programme with a value of maximum €250 million announced on 25 January 2022. The execution of the first tranche of the programme, of between €160 million and €170 million, has started on 1 March 2022 and is expected to be completed no later than October 2022.
The total number of shares repurchased under this programme to date is 23,852,848 common shares for a total consideration of €79.3 million.
