New CLAs for PostNL and Saturday deliverers final

The Hague, October 29, 2024 - The majority of the members of the trade unions BVPP and CNV have agreed to the negotiation result for the new collective labour agreements (CLAs) for PostNL and Saturday deliverers. This means that there are sufficient votes in favour of the new CLAs.

Jeroen Veldstra, Chief Human Resources Officer at PostNL: “I am pleased that we have agreed on new CLAs. Due to PostNL's financial situation, consultations with the trade unions were not always easy. Nevertheless, throughout the entire period we looked constructively together for possibilities. I am satisfied with this result.”

The FNV members' vote is undecided. They will vote again. The new CLAs will be signed soon. The time schedule also gives FNV time and space to complete their member consultation.

7% wage increase and other agreements

The CLAs will take effect on 1 April 2024 and expire on 30 June 2026. Employees will receive wage increases totaling 7%: 2.5% on 1 July 2024, 1.5% on 1 January 2025, 1.5% on 1 July 2025 and another 1.5% on 1 January 2026. The July 2024 wage increase will be paid retroactively in December. We will abolish youth pay from the age of 18 on 1 January 2025. There are also agreements, for example, on the individual customised RVU (Early Retirement Regulation), the allowance to purchase a bicycle and special parental care leave for adoptive and surrogate parents.
