Have your parcel delivered at another time or to a PostNL point

You can often change the drop date in advance. But this is unfortunately no longer possible once your parcel is out for delivery.

How can I change my drop date in advance?

  1. Log into your PostNL account and go to the track & trace of your parcel.
  2. Click ‘Change delivery’. You can do so from the moment we receive your parcel from the sender to the point that the status turns to ‘Sorted’.   
  3. Choose another drop date that is convenient for you. Or have your parcel delivered to a PostNL point.

Why can I no longer change the drop date?

It is usually no longer possible to change it once your parcel is out for delivery.

You can specify your parcel delivery preferences once in your PostNL account. You can choose where we deliver them, even if you are not at home!
