How to send priority mail?

Check the terms and conditions for priority mail
Make sure your letter meets the requirements for priority mail:
- Minimum size: 14 x 9 cm
- Maximum size: 38 x 26,5 x 3,2 cm
- Maximum weight: 2 kg
Is your letter too big or heavy for the letterbox? Then choose the priority parcel service.

Drop off your letter before 5 p.m. at the PostNL point
No need to put stamps on priority mail, because you cannot send it through the orange letterbox. You can only send priority mail via a PostNL point. Are you dropping off your letter before 5 p.m.? We will deliver it on the following business day.
Please note: we cannot deliver priority mail to PO Box numbers, business reply services and poste restante.

Track your letter with track & trace
You will receive a shipping receipt with a code. With this, you track the letter en route via track & trace. - 4
We will deliver your letter on the next business day
Choose from delivery before 10 a.m. or before noon. The recipient signs for delivery. You can find the signature via track & trace, under the tab 'Delivered'. This confirms that your letter has arrived.
Good to know:
- Are you dropping off your letter on a Saturday? Then we will deliver it on Tuesday.
- Are you sending priority mail to the Wadden Islands? We will deliver it on the next business day before 5 p.m.
What is the cost of
For delivery within the Netherlands, you can choose 2 different delivery times: next business day before 10 a.m. or before noon.
